On January 30–31, 2026, Delta Dent Academy proudly hosted an intensive two-day Endodontics course in Tirana under the guidance of Dr. Carlo Gaeta, focusing on the three critical pillars of modern root canal therapy: irrigation, shaping, and obturation.
The course delivered a strong scientific foundation combined with highly practical, clinically applicable protocols. Participants explored advanced irrigation concepts, including chemistry, dynamics, and activation of irrigation to achieve predictable canal disinfection. Special emphasis was placed on understanding how irrigation works synergistically with shaping to enhance cleaning efficiency.
During the shaping sessions, Dr. Gaeta shared contemporary philosophies of canal preparation, rotary and reciprocating instrumentation strategies, and decision-making based on canal anatomy. Through detailed explanations and hands-on demonstrations, participants gained clarity on how to shape canals safely while preserving dentin and respecting biological principles.
The course concluded with an in-depth focus on obturation, covering modern techniques, materials, and clinical workflows to achieve three-dimensional sealing of the root canal system. Step-by-step protocols helped participants connect shaping outcomes with obturation success, reinforcing the concept of endodontics as a continuous, integrated process.
This two-day program was a true blend of science, technique, and clinical experience, empowering dentists to elevate their daily endodontic practice with greater confidence, precision, and predictability—reflecting Delta Dent Academy’s commitment to delivering high-level, practice-oriented education in the region.
