From May 2 to 4, 2025, Tirana, Albania, welcomed one of the most anticipated events in advanced prosthodontics: a three-day intensive course on Full Mouth Reconstruction and Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), led by the world-renowned prosthodontist Dr. Łukasz Lassmann. Hosted at Delta Dent Academy, the course brought together a select group of dental professionals from across the Balkans and Europe, all aiming to deepen their expertise in managing complex prosthetic and occlusal cases.

This high-level program offered a comprehensive approach to full mouth rehabilitation — combining biomechanics, esthetics, and functional harmony — with a special focus on diagnosing and treating temporomandibular joint disorders, muscle dysfunctions, and occlusal instability. Dr. Lassmann shared his extensive clinical experience and systematic protocols, covering the entire workflow: from the initial clinical examination, facial analysis, occlusal diagnosis, and splint therapy to wax-ups, vertical dimension management, and definitive restorations using both analog and digital technologies.

The course emphasized critical decision-making based on functional parameters and patient-specific needs, ensuring not only beautiful restorations but also long-term stability and comfort for the patient. Dr. Lassmann’s interactive teaching style encouraged deep discussion, problem-solving, and clinical reflection among participants.

In addition to the intensive learning experience, attendees enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Tirana — a dynamic city where modern dentistry is rapidly evolving — and the warm hospitality of the Delta Dent Academy team.

This three-day event marked a milestone in dental education in the region, offering both inspiration and a practical roadmap for those aiming to master the complex art of full mouth rehabilitation.
